NZ Dollar rallies on appointment of new RBNZ Governor

NZDUSD (Kiwi) put in a good day's work on the back of the appointment of Adrian Orr as the new Governor of the country's Central Bank, rallying from its open at

0.6840 to a high of 0.6925. Although AUDUSD gained some small benefit on the coat-tails of its neighbour, these small gains look half-hearted at best.

Anyone short of AUDNZD will have plenty of reasons to add to their position in the face of any rallies.

NZDUSD currently trades at 0.6925  with AUDNZD at 1.0865
