UK Banks pass stress tests


All of the UK's major banks have passed the Bank of England's stress tests for the first time

Barclays and RBS, which failed last year, survived the Central Bank’s doomsday scenario which includes a theoretical 33% plunge in house prices, doubling of unemployment and GDP growth contracting as much as 4.7pc. This should provide a welcome comfort to holders of UK Bank Stocks.
